Enlèvement des débris et des embâcles de billots 2020 – Bassin versant de la Restigouche

The goal of this project is to remove major woody debris on sections of selected rivers to prevent the creation of jams which are harmful for salmon habitat on Popelogan, Little Popelogan, Grog Brook, Little Southeast Upsalquitch Rivers and Jardine Brook, Tracy Brook, Jerry Ferguson Brook, Hailes Brook. Another goal of the project is to locate beaver colonies on those rivers sections to characterize obstruction risks during low-water periods.
