Salmonier Nature Park’s Atlantic Salmon Ecology Awareness Project

The Salmonier Nature Park Atlantic Salmon Ecology Awareness Project proposes strategic development of advanced public education and awareness involving conservation of wild Atlantic salmon and its habitat by designing and incorporating new interactive visual and static interpretive resources within Salmonier Nature Park infrastructure and that will be incorporated as part of its annual education and outreach programming. The area receives in excess of 40, 000 visitors each year and provides incredible opportunities for public education, wildlife field research and nature enrichment in a well-protected and managed environment.
