River Restoration 2023

SRA will be undertaking restoration on Peverills Brook and/or Drain Lake Brook. Restoration will include the installation of habitat restoration structures (hand-constructed diggerlogs, rock sills, rock deflectors, etc.), clearing of debris jams and culverts to ensure fish passage, establishing thalwegs, improving pools, etc. This work will be done in these watercourses among those reaches where salmonid habitat restoration had taken place in the past, in watercourses and/or systems of watercourses where salmon were proven to be present, so as to complete restoration on watercourses as outlined in our planning documents.
