Quebec Fish Knowledge Forum

Created in 2022, the Atlantic Salmon Knowledge Forum—the result of a merger between the CIRSA and FQSA symposia—evolved in 2026 to become the Quebec Fish Knowledge Forum, presented in partnership with the Quebec Wildlife Foundation. This new format brings together scientific communities, managers, wildlife organizations, and professionals in a single event to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration on species and ecosystem management. While maintaining a central focus on Atlantic salmon, the forum will emphasize interdisciplinary knowledge transfer and the intersection of issues. The 2026 edition, to be held on November 18 and 19 at the Delta Mont Sainte Anne Hotel, will feature joint presentations, thematic workshops, and networking activities, providing an inclusive and accessible space to strengthen the cohesion of wildlife conservation efforts in Quebec.
