Mill River Salmon Enhancement Project

The project began with the planting of approximately 1000 native trees provided by the J. Frank Gaudet tree nursery.  Selective debris removal, alder removal and brush mat installation was carried out on the upper reaches of the main branch of Caruthers’s Stream.  Several log jams were also removed from the lower reaches.
